Rafah City Destroyed by Israeli Attacks

As the terror state Israel’s ground attacks on the city of Rafah continue in May, the humanitarian crisis deepens. The city’s Mayor, Ahmed Sufi, provided the following information about the destruction caused by Israel:

Welfare City Turned Into Disaster Zone

Sufi, who stated that the infrastructure of Rafah city was systematically destroyed, said that buildings, facilities, water and sewage networks, streets, bazaars, cultural centers, libraries and public areas such as parks were damaged. Sufi, who emphasized that Rafah city turned into a disaster area as a result of Israeli attacks, said the following:

“Due to Israeli attacks, the city of Rafah was destroyed. The neighborhoods in the southern region were completely destroyed. The neighborhoods in this strip, which constitute 35 percent of the city, were completely destroyed and are considered part of the border buffer zone built by the Israeli army.”

The Destruction of Israel

Sufi, who stated that the south of Rafah was completely destroyed, said that the city was in ruins and a part of the city was completely destroyed. Following the Israeli army’s request to evacuate some neighborhoods of Rafah, a ground attack was launched on the Rafah region and the Gaza side of the border crossing with Egypt was captured.
