‘HIT-30 High Technology Incentive Program’ Introduction Meeting

The ‘HIT-30 High Technology Incentive Program Introduction Meeting’ organized by the Ministry of Industry and Technology was held today at the Atatürk Cultural Center. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı, Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat and company officials operating in the field of technology attended the meeting.

Mehmet Fatih Kacır, Minister of Industry and Technology “We have introduced the HIT-30 High Technology Incentive Program, which we have prepared with the aim of becoming an R&D, innovation and production base in high technology fields. Within the scope of the program, we aim to bring global investments to Turkey, especially in innovative and emerging technology fields. In this direction, with the first six calls we made, we aim to make Turkey a production center in the fields of new generation energy vehicles, battery technologies, chip technologies, solar cells and wind turbines.

In this context, we will ensure that private sector investments of over 20 billion dollars are made in our country by 2030 within the scope of these six calls. The program aims to make the country strong in high technology fields by encouraging R&D studies in Turkey.

“The Total Amount of Investments is Over $40 Billion”

Minister Kacır continued his speech by saying, “The total amount of investments made by our investors, whose certificates of appreciation we presented on stage today, in Turkey is over 40 billion dollars. The HIT-30 program aims to increase large-scale investments in high-technology fields in Turkey and to contribute to the country’s economy. Within the scope of the program, investments in electric vehicles, battery technologies, solar cells, wind turbines, chips and R&D will be supported and new technology projects will be implemented.

The Ministry of Industry and Technology simultaneously announced the HIT-30 High Technology Incentive Program, along with the digital transformation support program, green transformation support program and technology-focused industrial initiative innovative, emerging technologies call. These programs, which aim to increase Turkey’s high technology exports and increase the technology share in total exports, aim to strengthen the country’s technological infrastructure.
