Healthcare workers marched from Kanalboyu Street to Kernek Square with banners condemning the Israeli attacks. Speaking on behalf of the group in the square, Dr. Abdullah Dinçadam recalled that thousands of people have been martyred in Gaza since October 7, 2023.

Dinçadam, who stated that they felt the brutality in Gaza in their bones and that the Zionist regime was carrying out massacres in the lands it occupied, spoke as follows: “The number of people who died in the attacks of the occupying Israel that have continued since October 7 has exceeded 40 thousand and the number of those injured has exceeded 100 thousand. Nearly 20 thousand children have been orphaned. Israel’s attacks on hospitals in Gaza have turned into massacres, but these attacks have not yet been subject to any international sanctions.

Not only was he not subject to sanctions, the bloodthirsty president of the Zionist regime was applauded for minutes in the US Congress, and the cruelty was mocked. While the genocide in Gaza was engraved as a black mark on human history, the US invited the Israeli Prime Minister, genocidal, murderer and war criminal Netanyahu, to his country and gave him the opportunity to speak in the US Parliament.

Dinçadam noted that Netanyahu’s unrealistic statements about the savagery in Gaza were applauded by US parliamentarians, “The US Parliament has produced a shameful photograph that will not be forgotten for centuries, just like in Hitler’s Germany. The mask of democracy and freedom of the US has fallen once again with this terrible photograph.”

Healthcare workers and representatives of some civil society organizations attended the march.
