Visiting Gaziantep, the President of Religious Affairs Ali Erbaş was welcomed by Gaziantep Governor Kemal Çeber. After signing the book of honor, Erbaş met with Çeber and continued his contacts in the city at the Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality. Welcomed by Mayor Fatma Şahin, Erbaş examined the books prepared by the municipality.
Erbaş, in his statement during the visit, said, “It is the duty of all of us to make Gaziantep the Great Bukhara. I am referring to Gaziantep by drawing inspiration from my experiences in Bukhara. Science, knowledge, information and wisdom are the cornerstones of a society. The way to impart these values is through Quran courses and courses for 4-6 year olds.”
Erbaş stated that he would be opening youth and family centers during his visit to Gaziantep. Erbaş emphasized that they had carried out important work in Gaziantep in the past and stated that they aimed to continue this work. Gaziantep Mufti Hüseyin Hazırlar also accompanied Erbaş during the visit.
