Republican People’s Party (CHP) Deputy Chairman Responsible for Local Governments and Resilient Cities and Istanbul MP Gökhan Zeybek arrived in Trabzon ahead of his Gümüşhane-Bayburt programs this weekend.
Ortahisar Mayor Ahmet Kaya, along with CHP Trabzon Deputy Sibel Suiçmez, Trabzon Provincial Mayor Mustafa Bak, Ortahisar District Mayor Haluk Batmaz, Ortahisar Deputy Mayor Cüneyt Zorlu, council members and party organization welcomed Zeybek at Trabzon Airport.
Gökhan Zeybek, who Ahmet Kaya, who was elected as the Mayor of Ortahisar with a large margin of votes by winning the love and trust of the people after his 27th Term visited MP duty, thanked the CHP municipalities and the people of Trabzon who voted for Ahmet Kaya with confidence.
Stating that the people have given the CHP a great responsibility by making it the number one party in Turkey, Zeybek said, “We will strengthen this trust of our people with the services provided by our municipalities and ensure that our citizens are in peace and security by producing people-oriented services. All CHP municipalities will turn the regions into brands.”
Drawing attention to the debt burden they inherited in the municipalities that the CHP won on March 31, Zeybek drew attention to the fact that the reason for this debt was waste and unnecessary spending that did not prioritize the public interest. Zeybek stated that there was no waste or unnecessary spending in the CHP’s understanding of municipality, and that resources were used for the public interest, efficiently and in a planned manner, and said, “The CHP’s understanding of municipality is transparent, accountable and people- oriented municipality.”
Underlining that the best examples of CHP’s understanding of municipality will be given in Ortahisar, Zeybek said, “The high support given to our Mayor Ahmet Kaya is related to the longing for merit, tolerance, justice and equal service. We fully believe that our Mayor Ahmet Kaya will do justice to this great support and will undertake successful services in Ortahisar.”
Ortahisar Mayor Ahmet Kaya thanked Zeybek for his visit and support and gave information about the current situation, work and projects of the municipality.
