2024-YKS Results Announced
Within the scope of the 2024-Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS) held on June 8-9, a total of 9 candidates managed to get 500 full points in the Basic Proficiency Test (TYT) and Field Proficiency Tests (AYT), verbal, equal weight and numerical score types. ÖSYM announced the placement results yesterday and the universities and departments where the students who came first in the exam were placed also became clear.
3 of the Champions Preferred Computer Engineering
According to the placement results, 4 of the 9 champion students were placed in engineering programs, 3 in economics/economics fields, 1 in business administration, and 1 in medical school. This year’s TYT winner is Mersin-Özel Mersin Elit College Science High School graduate Süleyman Mete Genc, won the Computer Engineering program at Middle East Technical University (METU). He came first in the AYT numerical field Arda Tasdemir, graduated from Elazığ-Cemil Meriç Science High School and enrolled in Boğaziçi University Computer Engineering. First in Foreign Language Tests (YDT) French Yunus Emre AydoganHe graduated from Istanbul-Çapa Science High School and won a place in Galatasaray University Computer Engineering Department.
YDT English first place Mehmet Alp Gunes, graduated from Istanbul Atatürk Science High School and enrolled in the METU Electrical-Electronics Engineering program. He came first in the AYT verbal section. Fatih Emre Duzcan, graduated from Rize-Private Rize Bahçeşehir College Anatolian High School and won the Boğaziçi University Economics Department. He came first in the equal weight category. Berra KurusHe graduated from Istanbul-Galatasaray High School and enrolled in the Department of Economics at Boğaziçi University.
YDT Arabicfirst Yusuf Salih Orhan, graduated from Istanbul-Kartal Anatolian Imam Hatip High School and enrolled in Koç University Economics Department (full scholarship). First place in YDT Russian Safiye Yasar, graduated from Ankara-Ayrancı Anatolian High School and was accepted to Bilkent University Business Administration (full scholarship) program. First in YDT German Love RedneckHe graduated from Istanbul-Kabataş Boys High School and won a place at Istanbul-Cerrahpaşa University Faculty of Medicine (Turkish).
