In a tragic incident in the central Yenişehir district of Mersin, 8 people were injured and 20 small cattle perished as a result of a car crashing into the sacrificial animal market. After the accident, the driver was detained.
Out of Control Car Entered the Market Area
The incident took place on Deniz Mahallesi Nevit Kodallı Street. The car with plate number 33 AIR 310, whose driver has not yet been identified, went out of control while driving and entered the sacrificial animal market on the roadside. After this terrible incident, the surrounding people immediately called for help and health, fire brigade and police teams were dispatched to the area.
8 People Injured and 20 Small Livestock Lost Their Lives
A total of 8 people, including 1 child, were injured in the accident, one of whom is in serious condition. Unfortunately, 20 small cattle lost their lives in this tragic incident. The injured were transferred to surrounding hospitals by medical teams who quickly arrived at the scene. The driver was detained and an investigation was launched.
