Wheat Was Turned to Ashes in the Fire in Tekirdağ
The fire disaster that occurred in an agricultural land in the Köseilyas District of Tekirdağ’s Süleymanpaşa district caused the wheat fields waiting to be harvested to be reduced to ashes.
Although the cause of the fire has not yet been determined, it is reported that it spread rapidly due to the influence of the wind. Fire crews were notified after the neighborhood residents could not control the fire with their own resources.
While the fire was extinguished thanks to the rapid intervention of the fire brigade, it was determined that most of the wheat fields were reduced to ashes.
While the cause of the fire was being investigated in detail, firefighters warned against throwing away items such as glass bottles and cigarette butts that could cause a fire.
