(ANKARA) –The General Directorate of Meteorology (MGM) announced the latest weather data across Türkiye today. According to the evaluations, local showers and thunderstorms are expected in the surroundings of Rize, the coastal parts of Artvin and the inner parts of Giresun and Trabzon.
According to the MGM report, while the air temperature is expected to increase by 2-4 degrees in the Black Sea region, no significant change is expected in other regions. The wind is generally expected to blow from the north, and at noon, it is expected to blow from the south at the Mediterranean coast with light and occasionally moderate winds. In addition, strong winds are expected from the north in the Marmara, the west of Eastern Anatolia and the east of Southeastern Anatolia.
It is stated that the air temperatures will be above 40 degrees in 3 provinces today. Temperatures are expected to exceed 41 degrees in Denizli, and 40 degrees in Aydın and Muğla. The highest air temperature in Ankara is expected to be 32 degrees and the lowest temperature is expected to be 16 degrees. While the highest temperature in Istanbul is reported to be 29 degrees and the lowest temperature is 20 degrees, the highest temperature in Izmir is expected to be 34 degrees and the lowest temperature is expected to be 23 degrees.
