Trump has recently vowed to make the US the cryptocurrency capital of the world at events he attended. “I believe Bitcoin will surpass gold. If we don’t embrace crypto, China will, and we don’t want that. We have to be the most successful! We will take Bitcoin to the moon,” he said.
Following Trump’s statements, Bitcoin’s value dropped by approximately $2,000. However, these fluctuations in cryptocurrency markets continue to be among the issues that draw more attention during the election process.
