US President Biden Withdraws from Elections

US President Biden announced that he is withdrawing his candidacy in the presidential election to be held on November 5. The primary election process in Iowa, which began on January 15, ended in June. Biden received support from approximately 3,800 delegates to be nominated in the elections.

Names for Candidacy

Along with Harris, Michelle Obama’s name is also being considered for the nomination. Pelosi had directly called for Harris not to be nominated and for a race to be held for the nomination.
