Turkish Red Crescent and Turkish Religious Foundation (TDV) distributed sacrificial meat to those in need in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The meat of 50 cattle sacrificed by the Turkish Red Crescent was delivered to families in need in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Turkish Red Crescent Deputy Chairman Yusuf Ramazan Saygılı also participated in the distribution activities.
Sacrifice Distribution Details
Within the scope of TDV’s 2024 Sacrifice by Proxy Program, sacrifices in Bosnia and Herzegovina were sacrificed in many cities under the supervision of the Religious Services Consultancy of the Sarajevo Embassy. Religious Services Counselor Mustafa Güvenç stated that the program was carried out successfully this year as every year. Within the scope of the campaign, for which a total of 128 thousand sacrifice shares were procured, sacrificial meat was delivered to those in need throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Participants’ Emotions
Expressing their satisfaction with the distribution of sacrificed meat, officials emphasized that their biggest goal is to deliver the trust of the nation. It was stated that Turkish Red Crescent supported those in need with this year’s campaign with the slogan “If You Keep the Blessings of Sacrifice Alive All Year Long, May there be a Crescent, Turkey”.
