An interesting result was experienced in the “Beautiful Recitation of the Adhan” competition held at the Gürcü Osman Mosque in Burhaniye Neighborhood as part of the 2024 Mosques and Religious Officials Week events. In the competition organized by the Provincial Mufti’s Office, Cedidiye Mosque Muezzin-Trustee Mehmet Kılıç was deemed worthy of the first prize in the adhan recitation category.
The head of the competition commission was Provincial Mufti Osman Aydın. The event, in which the participants competed with great excitement and devotion, created a beautiful unity between the mosque congregation and religious officials.
