Eyüpsultan Municipality meticulously continues its effective disinfection efforts against mosquitoes, houseflies, walking insects and rodents in order to protect public health throughout the district.
Details of Disinfestation Studies
Disinfestation teams affiliated with Eyüpsultan Municipality Veterinary Affairs Directorate continue their disinfection activities against larvae, mosquitoes, houseflies, walking pests and rodents in various areas in 29 neighborhoods throughout the district for 12 months.
- Larvicide studies are carried out by identifying environments suitable for mosquito breeding, such as water wells, water accumulated in building basements, and old car tires.
- Routine disinfection efforts are carried out with great care against pests and rodents walking on the streets and in the sewers.
- In line with the Regulation on the Procedures and Principles of Disinfestation Against Pests in the Field of Public Health, products recommended by WHO and licensed by the Ministry of Health are used.
