US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Makes Big Call to Tesla: Recalling 1.8 Million Vehicles!
The US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has decided to recall Tesla’s Model 3, Model S, Model X vehicles produced between 2021 and 2024, and the Model Y vehicles produced between 2020 and 2024. It was announced that more than 1.8 million vehicles in total will be remembered within this scope.
The statement stated that due to a software problem, the hood of the vehicle may not be detected in a fully open position. It was emphasized that this situation could cause accidents by obstructing the driver’s view.
It was also stated that Tesla has released a software update for the relevant vehicles to solve this problem.
