Quran Course students studying in Okçuoğlu village of Arpaçay district of Kars organized a meaningful event to draw attention to the human tragedy. They supported the innocent people who lost their lives and were injured in Israel’s attacks on Gaza with the “Free Palestine” themed event they held in their village.
Children gathered at the Okçuoğlu village mosque and carried out the event under the guidance of Mosque Imam Muhammed Meral. First of all, students organized a kite-making workshop and drew attention to the painful reality in Palestine by freely releasing the kites they had prepared into the sky.
The event, which aimed to raise awareness about the Palestinian tragedy that left a deep mark on the conscience of society, strengthened children’s sense of empathy and also reinforced the spirit of unity and solidarity.
