AK Party Spokesperson Ömer Çelik made a statement on his social media account, The multilateral and peace-oriented diplomacy carried out by Turkey under the leadership of our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan continues to produce results. Turkey is strengthening its position as a key country for regional and world peace every passing day. Çelik emphasized that our President’s multi-dimensional political approach has made Turkey’s diplomatic problem-solving capacity one of the most reliable bases in the world.
In this critical period when regional and world peace is at stake, the role Turkey has undertaken has become much more important.
Ömer Çelik stated that thanks to the effective intelligence diplomacy of the MİT Presidency, the exchange of 26 individuals in prisons of seven countries was carried out in Ankara. This result, achieved under the successful coordination of our MİT Directorate, has once again demonstrated Turkey’s negotiation and peace-oriented capacity.
Çelik continued his words as follows:
- This success, achieved at a time when the grounds for dialogue in the world have weakened and law and diplomacy have become inoperable, shows how important an actor Turkey is at the international level.
