Talks Between Saudi Arabia and France

According to information in the official Saudi Arabian news agency SPA, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and French President Emmanuel Macron held a phone conversation. In this important meeting, the two leaders focused on efforts to reduce tension in the region and the importance of preventing the risk of further escalation of the conflict.

One of the main agenda items of the meeting was Israel’s attacks on Gaza. In this context, the two leaders reportedly discussed their efforts to achieve a ceasefire. French President Macron had previously met with UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to discuss the rising tensions between Israel and Iran following the assassination of Hamas Political Bureau Chairman Ismail Haniyeh.

It was emphasized that such dialogues are of critical importance for ensuring stability in the region. It was noted that the two leaders sought to create a constructive dialogue environment, drawing attention to the responsibilities of the international community in this regard.
