Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced that a total of 21 million 67 thousand 377 vehicles passed through the highways during the Eid al-Adha holiday, which took place across Turkey between 14 and 21 June.
Minister Uraloğlu, in his post on his official Twitter account, stated that the transportation route preferred by citizens during the holiday is highways. Uraloğlu said, “Our highways offer the best travel opportunity to our citizens in terms of both safety and comfort. The passage of 21 million vehicles on the highways during the holiday shows the strength of our infrastructure and the preference of our people in this regard. ” he said
Minister Uraloğlu reminds the drivers to obey the traffic rules, wear seat belts and keep their attention on the road due to the high number of total crossings, and wished the citizens safe and trouble-free travels.
