Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca made an important reminder on social media about giving way to a fire truck in a traffic accident in Alaplı district of Zonguldak. In the post made after the accident, Minister Koca emphasized the importance of the “zipper” method when giving way to ambulances.
Minister Koca reported that 2 people injured in the traffic accident in Alaplı were hospitalized. Pointing out the importance of using the zipper method in his post, Minister Koca stated that drivers should be sensitive about this issue.
“We have once again seen the benefit of the zipper method, which we insistently emphasize to be used to give way to ambulances. The two people who were injured in the accident and received first aid have been taken to Alaplı State Hospital. I wish them a speedy recovery.” Concluding his post with the following words, Minister Koca drew attention to the vital importance of giving way to emergency vehicles in traffic.
