Kahramanmaraş Infantry Petty Officer Sergeant Mehmet Ali Horoz, who was martyred in the Claw-Lock operation, was sent off to his final journey with prayers. In line with the will of the martyr, a water well will be opened in Africa by the Presidency of Religious Affairs.
Military and civilian officials and many citizens attended the funeral ceremony held in Hasancıklı Neighborhood Cemetery in Kahramanmaraş’s Onikişubat District. The relatives of the martyr were in great sadness at the ceremony.
While the body of the martyr was brought to the ceremony area on the shoulders of the soldiers, the funeral prayer was performed after receiving the blessings. At the ceremony, Provincial Mufti Abdurrahman Kotan announced that the Presidency of Religious Affairs would fulfill the will of the martyr and open a water well in Africa.
The sister of martyr Infantry Petty Officer Sergeant Mehmet Ali Horoz, one of the 5 siblings, sent her brother off with a military salute. Accompanied by prayers, martyr Mehmet Ali Horoz was sent off on his last journey.
