We are carrying out an effective response to the forest fire that occurred in the company’s Salihli district of Manisa. The fire is being tried to be taken under control by the Forest Management Directorate and Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department teams. 5 aircraft, 4 helicopters, 12 water tankers, 2 water supply vehicles and 3 bulldozers are on duty in the fire, which is intervened by air and land.
The fire, which spread rapidly due to the negative effect of the wind, advanced towards the rural Yağbasan and Karasavcı Neighborhoods located at the foothills of Dibek Mountain. As a precaution, Karasavcı District, where 200 people live in 65 households, and Yağbasan District, where 230 people live in 80 households, were evacuated. Additionally, forest personnel EY (21) and OE (42), who responded to the fire, were affected by smoke. The personnel, who were in good health, were sent to the hospital after first aid in the fire area.
