İYİ Party Balıkesir Deputy Turhan Çömez brought to the agenda of the Turkish Grand National Assembly the allegation that the children entrusted to the state escaped from the dormitories and fell into the clutches of the terrorist organization. Çömez, who submitted a question to the Presidency of the Turkish Grand National Assembly with the request of the Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş to answer, stated that the safety of the children entrusted to the kindergartens affiliated with the Ministry of Family and Social Services in Mersin was not adequately ensured and that the supervision was insufficient.
