In the event organized by the Free Cause Party (HUDA PAR) Provincial Directorate, citizens adorned with Turkish and Palestinian flags came together in front of the Celebi Sultan Mehmet Mosque. The event started with slogans in support of Gaza and a recitation from the Quran.
HUDA PAR Muratpaşa District Chairman Abdullah Demirtaş stated that they gathered to support the resistance in Gaza and remind that 42 weeks have passed since October 7, 2023. Demirtaş stated, “The drama of Gaza has not eased, on the contrary, it has grown. “The developments in recent weeks have unmasked the Zionist gang and the establishment of a national unity government has been one of the promising steps.”
HUDA PAR Provincial Chairman Muhammet Serif Durmaz stated that their party submitted a bill to the Parliament on December 28, 2023, and that society gave serious support to this proposal. The program ended with prayers for the Palestinians who were martyred in Gaza.
