Attacks by Hezbollah in Lebanon
The Hezbollah Movement in Lebanon announced that it carried out a series of attacks against the illegal Shamir settlement and Khirbet Maar military base in the north of Israel. In the written statement made by Hezbollah, it was stated that Shamir, the new illegal settlement, was now included in the list of targets in Israel and that it was hit with Katyusha missiles for the first time.
It was stated that the attacks in question were carried out as a retaliation for Israel’s attacks on Lebanese villages and towns, especially in the Mercayun region and its surroundings.
“Enemy positions were targeted with ‘full accuracy'”
In another statement, Hezbollah stated that an attack was carried out with kamikaze unmanned aerial vehicles on the Khirbet Maar military base in the north of Israel. It was emphasized that this attack targeted the enemy’s positions with “full accuracy”.
Channel 12 Television in Israel reported that a missile fired from Lebanon fell into an open area in the Shamir settlement and caused a fire there.
Israel continued its attacks on southern Lebanon
The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that the Israeli army attacked the town of Al-Khiyam in southern Lebanon with phosphorous artillery shells. It was noted that as a result of this attack, two people were affected by phosphorus gas and were in serious danger of suffocation, and these people were taken to Mercayun State Hospital in serious condition.
