HÜRJET’s 100th Flight was Successfully Carried Out
According to the statement made by TAI, HÜRJET, which took off on April 25, 2023, made its 100th flight and continued important test activities in this context. HÜRJET, which stayed in the air for 1 hour and 27 minutes during the flight, proved its performance once again by successfully completing various maneuver tests.
After its 100th flight, HÜRJET fascinated the audience by performing an impressive demonstration flight. With this flight, HÜRJET reached a total flight time of 118 hours, a maximum speed of 0.9 Mach and an altitude of 30 thousand feet.
First Delivery Planned in 2025
The HÜRJET project, developed under the coordination of the Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB) to meet the needs of the Air Forces Command, was launched in 2017. Within the framework of this project, HÜRJET, produced by TAI with domestic and national resources, It was designed as a single-engine, tandem aircraft with a modern avionics cockpit.
HÜRJET was developed to undertake critical tasks with its superior performance features, and mass production efforts are continuing. The first delivery is planned to take place in 2025.
