Statement from Hezbollah in Lebanon
The Hezbollah Movement in Lebanon has categorically rejected Israel’s claims of “preemptive action” and preventing the resistance’s attack. “Such claims by Israel are completely unfounded and completely contradict the facts on the ground,” the statement said.
The statement emphasized that statements from Lebanon that the resistance attacks were prevented by Israel did not reflect the current situation. It was stated that more detailed information on the subject would be given in a speech by Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.
It was also stated that “The military operation, in which all attack UAVs crossed the Lebanese border within the specified time periods and managed to reach their targets in a multi-directional manner, was successfully completed.”
On the other hand, the Israeli army claimed that approximately 100 warplanes took part in the attack on Lebanon this morning and that 40 missile launchers positioned in central Israel were destroyed. These developments indicate that tensions in the region may increase further.
