The 7.3-kilometer road that will provide access to the glass observation terrace overlooking the Tigris River has also been completed and opened for service. The glass observation terrace, which has begun work, is planned to be opened to local and foreign visitors by the end of the year. The glass observation terrace, where the natural beauties of the Hell Stream, which has been cleared of terror, will be viewed, is expected to contribute to the revival of tourism in the region.

The Width of the Glass Cliff Will Be 12.5 Meters

Provincial Special Administration Planning Project Investment and Construction Manager Hikmet Özek stated that the project will provide great vitality to tourism, economic and social life and gave the following information about the width and details of the glass observation terrace:

  • The project area consists of 4 plans.
  • The flooring of the glass terrace will consist of 3-layer damped laminated glass.
  • The project width will be 32.5 meters and the cliff width will be 12.5 meters.
  • When the project is completed, it will be one of the largest viewing glass terraces in Turkey.

Citizens living in the village also stated that they were pleased with the project being brought to their village and emphasized its positive effects in terms of job opportunities and tourism.
