Fenerbahçe hosted the Swiss team Lugano in the UEFA Champions League 2nd qualifying round. The match was breathtaking and the yellow-navy team left the field with a 4-3 victory, opening the door to the next round.

The winning goals were scored by Edin Dzeko (3) in the 45+1′ (P), 46′, 67th minute and Ferdi Kadıoğlu in the 73rd minute. Lugano’s goals were scored by El Wafi in the 4th minute, Bislimi in the 64th minute and Valenzuela in the 90+4th minute.
