Dry Cargo Ship Going from Russia to Tunisia Ran Aground

The 169-meter-long dry cargo ship, which was going from Russia to Tunisia, anchored on the Yeşilköy coast while it was sailing and crashed on the shore. After the ship ran aground, teams from the General Directorate of Coastal Safety were dispatched to the scene and rescue efforts were initiated.

According to the statement made by the General Directorate of Coastal Safety (KEGM), the teams of the General Directorate of Coastal Safety affiliated with the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure were directed to the scene with a fast rescue boat and tugboat for the wheat-laden dry cargo ship named “Lady Ayana”.
