Defense Industry Cooperation Between Türkiye and Albania Will Be Strengthened
President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a telephone conversation with Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama. According to the statement made by the Directorate of Communications, bilateral relations between Turkey and Albania, regional issues and global issues were discussed in detail during this meeting.
Cooperation in the Defense Industry Will Be Moved Forward
President Erdoğan emphasized during the meeting that relations between the two countries are at a very advanced level. He stated that in addition to the contacts in the fields of trade, economy and military, the cooperation in the defense industry will be further strengthened with new steps to be taken.
Erdoğan also stated that efforts to reduce the influence of FETO in Albania are extremely important. He added that efforts to end the organization’s presence in education, health and religious institutions in Albania will continue.
In this context, it is envisaged that the steps to be taken by Turkey and Albania in line with their common goals will make significant contributions to the security and national interests of both countries.
Following the meeting, steps to be taken to further deepen Turkey’s relations with Albania and increase cooperation in the defense industry are eagerly awaited.
