On the 9th anniversary of his death, journalist-writer Cüneyt Arcayürek was commemorated by his wife Esin Arcayürek and the Journalists Association.

Esin Arcayürek said, “Cüneyt Arcayürek worked hard for the Republic of Turkey all his life. May he rest in peace. We lived together for 55 years. He was always in the right mind in his last days, he wrote until the last day. “I miss him, but I live in my dreams.”
