In a traffic accident that occurred in Konya’s Ereğli district, a car flew into a ditch and caught fire. Unfortunately, 4 people lost their lives and 2 people were injured in the accident. Details of the incident are as follows:
Details of the incident
The accident occurred at night in Hortu location on the Konya-Adana Highway. As a result of the driver losing control of the steering wheel, the vehicle went out of control, flew into the embankment and caught fire.
Upon the notice of the citizens who saw the accident, fire brigade, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene in a short time. As a result of the intervention of the fire brigade, the fire in the car was extinguished, but unfortunately, 4 people in the vehicle died at the scene. Two people were rescued with injuries in the accident.
Situation of the Injured
After the first intervention of the medical teams, the 2 injured people were taken to Ereğli State Hospital by ambulance and received treatment. Detailed information about the health conditions of the injured has not been shared yet.
