Luxembourg Deputy Prime Minister Xavier Bettler met with Chinese Deputy Prime Minister Ding Xuexiang and agreed to strengthen cooperation between the two countries within the scope of the Belt and Road Initiative.

The 2nd Zhengzhou-Luxembourg “Air Silk Road” International Cooperation Forum, held in Luxembourg on Thursday, was of great importance in implementing the agreement reached by the leaders of the two countries on deepening Belt and Road cooperation.
Success of the Air Silk Road
The “Air Silk Road” established between the city of Zhengzhou in the central part of China and Luxembourg has become an important link between the two countries. The transportation of Chinese medical supplies through this route during the Covid-19 pandemic has provided strong support to Luxembourg and other European countries.
China’s determination to build a more efficient air transportation system and establish closer economic and trade cooperation with Luxembourg to accelerate the high-quality development of the “Air Silk Road” going forward underlines the importance of cooperation.
After the forum, Ding and Bettel together visited the exhibition focusing on the achievements of the “Air Silk Road”.
