ADD filed a criminal complaint
Ataturkist Thought Association (ADD) filed a criminal complaint against the Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin, citing the Turkish Century Education Model. President of the Association, Hüsnü Bozkurt, stated that the new curriculum is against the Constitution and announced that they will file a lawsuit in the Council of State in addition to filing a criminal complaint.

In ADD’s criminal complaint, it was emphasized that the new curriculum was against the principle of secularism and violated the Constitution’s right to education and training. It was also alleged that the Minister of National Education caused public harm by abusing his power. ADD’s Response
Atatürkist Thought Association stated that they took this step to protect the Turkish education system and Atatürk’s principles. The association emphasized that they acted with the mission of protecting the modernity and national values of the Turkish society and argued that the new curriculum of the Minister of National Education harmed the fundamental values of Turkey.
