Mausoleum Area Fire in Kula, Manisa
A new one has been added to the forest fires that have affected our country recently. The fire in the scrub area in Kula district of Manisa spread rapidly and threatened the forest area and settlements. However, it was taken under control thanks to the fire brigade and forestry teams who intervened in time.
The fire, which broke out on a day when high temperatures were effective, caused damage to an area of 5 decares of scrub. The fire, which spread rapidly to the surrounding area with the influence of the wind, worried the residents of the neighborhood. While citizens intervened in the fire with their own means, they also reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center.
Kula Fire Department teams affiliated with Manisa Metropolitan Municipality reached the scene in a short time and intervened in the fire. Fire extinguishing efforts were initiated with the support of the first response vehicle and intermediaries coming from the Kula Forest Management Directorate. As a result of 2 hours of intensive work, the fire was taken under control, and the cooling operations of the teams continue.
