Details of the incident
Republican People’s Party (CHP) Kayseri Provincial Chairman Feyzullah Keskin reacted harshly to the attack on his party’s candidate for municipal council in Pınarbaşı district, Şerafettin Bahadır. After Bahadır was followed by a vehicle and beaten in the village and violence was committed against his family, Keskin held a press conference and condemned the incident.
Condemnation and Reactions
Keskin emphasized that the attack was unacceptable and said, “Such acts of violence cannot be tolerated, and no concessions can be made to the attackers to ensure peace.” Keskin also stated that similar incidents were increasing in Kayseri and that one should not remain a spectator to this situation. Deputy Aşkın Genç stated that the events disrupted the peace of Kayseri and that everyone should be sensitive to such violent incidents.
