According to the Dhaka Tribune newspaper, the Bangladesh Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief made important statements about the flood disaster that affected the country. In the statement, it was stated that the number of people who lost their lives in the flood disaster reached 67.

It was recorded that more than 600 thousand people were stranded due to floods and more than 5 million people were affected by the disaster in 11 regions. The Ministry also stated that in addition to this negative situation, improvements were observed in some regions.

The Ministry of Disaster Management and Aid emphasized that food and financial aid to the victimized citizens continues. It was announced that more than 500 thousand people were placed in 3,403 temporary shelter centers in the region due to the disaster.

These statements made by the Ministry reveal the extent of the flood disaster and the government’s response efforts. It is stated that emergency aid efforts to meet the needs of the affected people continue, and national and international support plays an important role in this process.
