Tragic Work Accident: Elevator Installation Master Loses His Life
The incident took place in the evening hours in Şehitlik District of Yenişehir district. elevator installer Ahmet CelikWhile working on the top floor of a 13-storey building, he lost his balance and fell into the elevator shaft. After those who saw the incident immediately reported it to 112 Emergency Service, health, fire brigade and police teams were dispatched to the scene in a short time.
Despite the rapid intervention of the teams, as a result of the checks, it was determined that Ahmet Çelik lost his life. This tragic incident at the scene caused great sadness in the surrounding citizens. Çelik’s body was sent to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for a detailed autopsy.
It has been reported that an investigation has been launched by local authorities regarding this sad incident. It was emphasized that the precautions to be taken in terms of occupational safety and the measures required to prevent similar accidents should be reviewed.
