Velivizion: A New Platform Strengthening Family and School Collaboration
The Ministry of National Education introduced the ‘Velivision’ platform, which aims to increase parents’ sense of responsibility and strengthen school-family cooperation. This platform also aims to provide an integrated contribution to students’ social and academic development. Speaking at the introduction program, Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin detailed the content structure of the ‘Velivizyon’ platform.
Minister Tekin stated that the ‘Velivizyon’ platform includes 27 episodes of series and content under 12 main titles. It was stated that these contents will encourage families to participate more actively in the education processes of their children. In addition, Minister Tekin, who announced that the 2024-2025 academic year will start on Monday, September 9, also shared the three main titles they have determined for the new term.
- Türkiye Century Education Model:It is aimed to modernize the education system and achieve international standards.
- Vocational and Technical Education Policy:Strategies will be developed to overcome the difficulties experienced in employing qualified personnel, especially in the industrial sector.
- The Role of the Family:The role of the family in the education process will be highlighted as an area of study this year.
Minister Tekin emphasized that these topics will make significant contributions to the development of Turkey’s education system and drew attention to the need for families and educators to act in cooperation.
