Boupendza, who attracted attention with 22 goals and 1 assist in 38 matches during the 2020-2021 season in Hatayspor, made a big breakthrough with this performance. As a result of these successes, Boupendza was transferred to Qatar’s Al-Arabi Doha team and is now preparing to return to Turkey.

Who is Aaron Boupendza?

Aaron Boupendza was born on August 7, 1996 in Moanda, Gabon. He started his football career at CF Mounana, a local team in Gabon. The young forward attracted attention with his performance there and entered the radar of European clubs. In 2016, he was transferred to FC Bordeaux in France.

Unable to find the playing time he wanted in Bordeaux, Boupendza was loaned to different clubs to gain experience in order to improve himself. In the 2017-2018 season, Boupendza was loaned to Ligue 2 team Pau FC, where he managed to attract attention again by scoring 15 goals in 21 matches.

The brightest period of Boupendza’s career was the 2020-2021 season when he played for Hatayspor in the Turkish Super League. After his impressive performance at Hatayspor, he was transferred to Qatar’s Al-Arabi SC in the summer of 2021. Here, Boupendza successfully demonstrated his goal-scoring skills and continued to perform effectively in the Middle Eastern leagues.
