Unlicensed Restaurant in Odunpazarı and After

Odunpazarı'nda Ruhsatsız Lokanta ve Sonrası

On August 5, Odunpazarı Municipality Police Department teams determined that a restaurant on Sevinç Street in Yenidoğan Neighborhood was unlicensed. The owner of the restaurant, Afghan national PN, started arguing with the police teams. While the teams started the necessary procedures to seal the business, tension arose between them and PN. The police teams managed to seal the business with the help of the police teams.

Following the incident, during the night hours, PN took revenge by cutting 9 tires of 6 police vehicles parked in front of the municipality building with a knife, causing great damage. This incident was recorded by security cameras in the area and PN’s identity was quickly identified.

After the municipality reported the situation, Eskişehir Police Department teams carried out a rapid operation. PN, who was identified from security camera recordings, was caught and detained in a short time. After the procedures at the police station, PN was sent to the courthouse and arrested by the court to which he was brought.

Odunpazarı Municipality Police Department officials emphasized that damaging public property is never acceptable and expressed their gratitude to Eskişehir Police Department teams who quickly resolved the incident.
