Healthcare Services in Challenging Conditions in Ukraine
Ukrainian medical workers working in the region, where there is intense military activity, are working selflessly under extremely difficult and dangerous conditions in terms of security. In the midst of war, they are doing their best to save the lives of wounded soldiers.
Wounded soldiers are safely removed from areas of intense enemy fire by evacuation teams, who quickly retrieve the wounded from the battlefield and transport them to a designated stabilization center.
At the center, first aid, emergency medical intervention and surgical operations are performed on wounded soldiers when necessary. Healthcare workers display high levels of care and professionalism during this process, increasing the chances of survival of wounded soldiers. Some important stages of this process are listed below:
