Flag-Hanging Ceremony for Martyr Abdulkadir Çıldır
A meaningful flag hanging ceremony was held at the grave of Erzincan martyr Abdulkadir Çıldır with the participation of Erzincan Governor Hamza Aydoğdu. The ceremony was held in the Uluköy village cemetery.
The event began with the reading of the Quran at the grave of martyr Abdulkadir Çıldır. The flag-hanging ceremony continued with prayers and gave emotional moments to the participants.
Governor Hamza Aydoğdu and the wife of the martyr Şükran Çıldır hung the Turkish flag on the grave to keep the spirit of the martyr alive. The ceremony was attended by Governor Hamza Aydoğdu, Deputy Governors Mehmet Emre Canpolat and Rumeysa Sena Kurt, various unit managers, representatives of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and relatives of the martyr.
During the ceremony, Governor Aydoğdu had a friendly conversation with the martyr’s wife and grandchildren and expressed his feelings by saying, “If we live in peace and security on this heavenly homeland of ours today, we owe it to our dear martyrs and heroic veterans. “We will never forget their sacrifices and heroism. Whatever we do for them is not enough. May their souls be happy and their resting place be heaven.”
