After approximately half an hour of intensive work, the fire was brought under control. The fact that employees had gone out shortly before the fire prevented a possible disaster. Employees and business owners at another business right next to the fire tried to put out the fire with hoses to prevent the flames from spreading to their own shop. In the meantime, they made a great effort to prevent the incident from escalating.

Ali Özden, who was on duty at the business, stated that he immediately went to the scene as soon as he heard about the fire, and said, “I came and saw that the container was burning. We immediately called the fire department.” Arif Çiçek, who was in the shop across from us when the fire started, said, “We were about to sit down to eat, and then we saw the smoke. The flames rose suddenly. We called the fire department without wasting any time.” “
The fire was completely extinguished after approximately 1.5 hours of dedicated work by firefighters. During this process, citizens watched with concern as firefighters extinguished and cooled the fire. The effects of the fire were felt for a long time, but thanks to the rapid response of the teams, a greater disaster was prevented.
