Fire Breaks Out in Pallet Factory
A fire broke out in the garden of a pallet factory on 6106/36 Street in Işıkkent Neighborhood at around 13:30 for an unknown reason. The fire quickly grew and became uncontrollable after wooden pallets stored in the garden caught fire.
The flames spread to the exterior of two separate cold storage facilities adjacent to the factory. As a result of the fire, the workplaces were significantly damaged. A minibus and four cars that were reached by the flames were rendered unusable by the fire. The growth and spread of the fire created panic among the surrounding citizens.
Firefighters arrived at the scene to intervene in the fire and extinguished it in about an hour with intensive efforts. The cause of the fire is being investigated in detail and the police have launched a comprehensive investigation into the incident.
