A boundary stone that marks a special area from the Roman period was found during excavations carried out during infrastructure works in Adıyaman. The stone piece was delivered to Adıyaman Museum Directorate officials.

Excavator operator Gürsel Yorulmaz, who carried out the drinking water line laying operations during the infrastructure works, stated that he noticed the stone piece during the excavation and said, “When we saw that there were writings on the stone, we reported the situation to the field authorities. Museum directorate teams examined the stone and took it to the museum.”
