According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology, the weather will be partly cloudy and occasionally very cloudy throughout our country. Local showers will be seen in the eastern part of Marmara, the inner parts of the Aegean and Mediterranean, Central Anatolia, the Western Black Sea, the inner parts of the Central and Eastern Black Sea, the northern and western parts of Eastern Anatolia and the surrounding areas of Muş, Van and Batman. Heavy rains are expected especially in the afternoon and evening hours in the inner parts of the Western and Central Black Sea, and the surrounding areas of Eskişehir, Çankırı, Yozgat, Erzurum, Kars and Ardahan.
There will be no significant change in air temperatures and they will generally be 2 to 5 degrees above seasonal norms. The wind will generally be from the north; however, along the Mediterranean coast, Southeastern Anatolia and the east of Eastern Anatolia, it will blow lightly and occasionally moderately from the south. In addition, strong winds (40-60 km/h) will be effective from the north in the southwest of Marmara and the northern Aegean coast.
