Heavy rainfalls that have been continuing for a long time in the city have caused flooding in many branches of the Taşlıçay Stream. A restaurant and a café converted from a boat on the banks of the stream were damaged in the flood that occurred as a result of the stream’s overflow.

In order to take precautions against the risk, teams started working with a crane and an excavator to prevent the 21-meter-long boat from being swept away by the water. An effort was made to prevent the boat from being damaged by the flood waters.
The increase in stream flow due to rainfall was detected from the air by a drone in the region. The extent of the damage caused by the flood was viewed from the air.
