Social media phenomenon Özcan Başoğul and other residents of the Sadık Çiftçi Apartment in Tozkoparan Neighborhood of the central Toroslar district took the contractor to court because he had converted the common area into an apartment and rented it out. However, as the process progressed, they encountered an unexpected situation. When they returned home, they saw that the building entrance door had been blocked by a wall.

Başoğul, one of the residents of the building, stated that he had been out of town for a while and when he returned he noticed that the door had been blocked by a wall. He said that they were surprised by this situation and that some people thought it was a joke. Başoğul said that they discovered that there was a new entrance door at the back of the building.

Fatih Dinç stated that when they came home in the evening, they saw that a wall had been built instead of the door. He said that they came to this situation because the contractor had usurped the common area and turned it into flats.
Following this incident, the residents of the building do not want the new entrance door, which they find dangerous, to be used until the court process is concluded. The residents who reported the situation to the authorities emphasized that this situation must be corrected for the safety of the elderly and their children.
